Unique Stay near Teton National Park: Heated domes with a view of the tetons

Visiting Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Teton National Park is something that should be on everyone’s travel bucket list. The mountains and nature won’t let you down, so make sure to book a memorable stay in a unique accommodation! My review on why I will choose to stay at Tammah Geodesic Heated Domes in the future again – spoiler: they are dog friendly and 5 minutes from the Tetons!

Tammah Jackson Hole by Earth to Sarah

Tammah Jackson Hole is located in Wilson, Wyoming. My little family and I stayed here at the end of August of 2024.

review of Tammah Jackson Hole

Tammah has incredibly aesthetic glamping domes, and the sauna looks like it was taken out of a magazine. The domes look right at the Tetons, and really have the best view in all of Jackson Hole of Teton National Park. These domes are truly an experience in themselves, and I would stay here again and again.

The location is beyond perfect. You can actually walk from the property right onto the bike path that spans the entire mountain range views. We walked our pups every morning easily. It is also extremely easy to hop in the car and literally be at the entrance of Teton National Park in 5 minutes.

How much does AMMAN Jackson Hole cost?

Tammah Jackson Hole cost about $300 a night on average, but these prices do vary depending on the season. These are luxury domes, and truly nicer than any other glamping I have ever done. I wouldn’t really consider it camping considering you have running water and heat! There is a shower, and two sinks (kitchen and bathroom.) This instantly makes it 10x better than most glamping experiences. Jackson is an expensive town to stay, to have views like this the price is absolutely worth it.

What kind of domes/rooms?

There are two different options for booking: 1. the King Suite with plush king beds, or 2. the Family Suite featuring a king bed and a set of bunk beds. All of the buildings are turned towards the Tetons, so you will see the stunning views of sunrise and sunset every day no matter which dome you stay.

Sauna &

All domes have access to the sauna. My one pickle is that the sauna is only open during certain hours of the day, so just be mindful if you want to enjoy it! We had it all to ourselves despite the busy weekend and lots of other guests. (Yes, there used to be a cold plunge here but it is no longer.)

3 Things to know about the domes:

  1. Will I have wifi? You will have wifi in each dome and at the common spaces.
  2. Can I charge my phone? Each dome has power outlets for your devices.
  3. Do I need to bring supplies? No! They provide everything you would receive in a hotel such as bedding, shampoo, and towels.
  4. Is Tammah Jackson Hole dog friendly? Yes! Dogs must be on leash while on the property and there is a pet fee.
  5. Where will I go? You will park at the front of the property where the check in building is. There is community space where you can enjoy a fireplace, s’mores and conversations with other travelers. There are wooden board walks that will take you to each dome. The maximum walk to the last dome would be about .25 of a mile.

Is it worth going to Jackson, Wyoming?

YES! Jackson Hole is in my opinion, one of the most beautiful places in the world! Teton National Park has really unique jagged mountains that have stunning clear alpine lakes. I have personally hiked 40+ miles in the park and will continue to go back for more. There are always events happening in Jackson from live music to holiday festivals. Go to Jackson Village and ride the gondola to the top of the mountain if you can, or maybe while visiting during winter you will hit the slopes at Jackson Hole Ski Resort.

We were SO cozy at Tammah Jackson Hole. I hope you consider supporting this awesome business! Enjoy hiking through the Tetons and swimming in the alpine lakes. Remember to always watch for bears and moose when driving/exploring around Jackson. I have seen both and every time it is a good reminder to exercise caution around wildlife. Let me know if you need a hiking guide to the Tetons, and enjoy your next stay in Jackson at Tammah!

Let me know if you have any follow up questions. Thanks for reading, and know that you can find me on Instagram posting almost daily!

Also, I sell my photography prints! It would mean the entire world if you considered supporting my small art business for the upcoming holidays! One of these photos could hang in your living room! https://earthtosarah.darkroom.com

  1. Looking to book here for our stay in October. Is worth paying the extra for the King Geodome, premium view? Or will we still get an amazing view in a non-premium King Geodome? Love what you shared and your photos! Thanks!

    1. Have a beautiful time in Jackson!! I believe we did stay in the King Geodome (we were in the 1st dome!) I think it is possible there is a bit of a blocked view for the non-premium unfortunately. You can walk the whole property, and still get the views at the fireplace and sauna though!
